Fantasy Football guru since 1991…about the time he was attending USL…which
is appropriate because most USL grads can only fantasize about winning
football.—Sorry, Chris, but as a 1994 graduate of USL, you’ve
experienced as many winning seasons as name changes since then—2!...and
Chris was 2 years old last time Cajuns went to a Bowl game
(1970)…Good-naturedly took gratuitous cheap shots such as these from
former McNeese pbp announcer Jon Fine when Chris and Jon worked together
on Livingston Sports Weekly and THE High School Sports Show (Sept
2006—June 2010)…Chris was the Internet pbp announcer for Walker HS
Football (2006-2008 seasons)…Might hold the world record for
announcers—Wildcats went 0-30 with Chris behind the mic…We must point
out that Walker opened up the post-Ledoux era in 2009 at 3-0!...About as
enthusiastic and spirited a supporter of WHS and WHS athletics as there
is…Does energetic P.A. for Wildcats Boys Basketball games…His call of
“Severrrriooooo” for former Wildcat Jordan Severio has become
legendary…Supplements his weight loss challenge earnings by being
Special Ed teacher at Walker since 2003…Big proponent of HS Powerlifting
in Louisiana. One of the leaders in attempts to have this sport
sanctioned by LHSAA…Has his own company designing logos and creating
stencils for football fields, where he has been known to try to sneak in
parts of the Walker Wildcat on other school’s logos he works
on!…Talented graphics designer who has done some artwork for Jon Fine
Sports Productions throughout the years…Redeemed himself for USL
heritage by graduating from (1986) and coaching football (1994-1998) at
a successful program—Opelousas HS, where he also served as Head
Powerlifting Coach…Devery Henderson (LSU, Saints) was at OHS when Chris
coached there...Bet on Saints to win Super Bowl while vacationing in
Vegas during spring of 2009…Devoted Who Dat…One daughter, Ryann, proving
the miracle of genetics…Ryann might have provided Jon with the only hug
he’s ever had from a good looking female!...Way too good a guy and has
too clean a background to be in the seedy world of Baton Rouge
sportscasting.—Despite constant attempts, we have been unable to dig up
any dirt on him to help validate his fledgling broadcasting career.
Chris Ledoux is the Play-by-Play announcer for Episcopal HS football
broadcasts on WXOK-1460AM, Baton Rouge, and on the Internet at
