DENHAM SPRINGS H.S. FOOTBALL GAMES ARE BEING BROADCAST ON THE
SPORTSGUMBO.NET BROADCASTING NETWORK ( www.sportsgumbo.net...this
site!) FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN 2008! As you may know, all
Denham games can be heard in the Greater Denham Springs area on
The Score, 1210AM, Fox Sports Radio, Baton Rouge.)
The SportsGumbo.net Broadcasting
Network is a collaborative production of Baton Rouge radio
broadcasters Rick Cantu and
Jon Fine. Rick and Jon have combined to
work in professional broadcasting in Louisiana for over 50 years,
including over 40 in Baton Rouge! Rick serves The SportsGumbo.net
Broadcasting Network as Technical Producer and Creative Producer.
Jon serves the network as Broadcast Producer and Marketing
Director. Rick and Jon share numerous other responsibilities in
making these broadcasts a reality.
In its third year of existence, The SportsGumbo.net
Broadcasting Network is carrying five school's broadcasts.
In addition to
Denham
Springs,
you can tune in to broadcasts of
Central,
Live Oak,
Sulphur and
Walker. Denham broadcasts will
start at 6:05pm. All other broadcasts start at 6:30pm.
Special thanks to LHSAA Hall of Famer Butch Wax for all of the
help he provided throughout the years in his capacity as
Principal at Denham Springs H.S.. We look forward to having a
similar harmonious relationship with new Denham principal Kelly
Jones. Also, our gratitude is extended to AD & head football
coach Dru Nettles, head boys basketball coach Wyn Wyngate, girls
head basketall coach Shelly Laprarie
and others for all the help they've provided us in producing and
announcing Denham Springs HS football games on
