Robbie Harrison

THE SILVER-TONGUED DEVIL HIMSELF.  Or, as many people around Live Oak have thought from time to time--drop the "silver" and "tongued" and it's just THE DEVIL HIMSELF!...Maybe the most eclectic person in the history of radio!  Maybe the only person in Louisiana who likes Country Music and knows what the word eclectic means!...Jack of all trades, and masters most of them (or at least will make you believe he does!).  Gifted orator.  On the drop of a dime, Robbie can (pick up the dime from the floor, put it in his pocket and then) wax eloquently, if not encyclopedically on Live Oak HS, Elvis, his legendary fishing expeditions AND EVERYTHING ELSE!  And quite often does so as THE High School Sports Show's #1 option when a guest doesn't show up....---- graduate of Live Oak High School, where he says his athletic exploits are still handed down from generation to generation (editor's note: Livingston Parish's Mendoza Line?)  As a football offensive lineman, Robbie was able to block any player in his way--as long as they were half his size and he could catch them.  Defensively, Robbie was run over by some of the finest running backs ever to play Louisiana high school football.  We believe that several former opponents actually thanked Robbie in their Louisiana sports hall of fame induction speeches!  Even after these legendary athletic exploits, Robbie to this day can still fit in his high school letterman jacket.  Just, don't ask him to button it!...When asked when he attended LSU, Robbie says:  The Good, The Bad & The Ugly--referring to LSU football during Arnsparger, Stovall and Archer.  (editor's note 2:  these are not in chronological order, suggesting that Robbie might have consumed a beverage or 2 during college)...For many years, Robbie has split his time between practicing law, being the (PA) Voice of the Eagles for Live Oak football home games and serving as the unofficial mayor of Watson, Louisiana (not necessarily in that order of priority!)...Proud Eagle Scout leader...One of Watson's most heralded thespians. Does not have his priorities straight as he occasionally misses THE High School Sports Show for these endeavors...Robbie Harrison as in: THE HARRISON LAW FIRM, tremendous sponsor and supporter of THE High School Sports Show.  How can a judge ever rule against this guy!!

Robbie is the Live Oak correspondent on THE High School Sports Show, Thursdays, 7pm--8pm, broadcasting live from Fox's Pizza Den on The Score, 1210AM, Fox Sports Radio in Baton Rouge.
