FOOTBALL GAMES ARE BEING

be broadcast right here at SportsGumbo.net. All broadcasts will start at 6:30pm. Your announcers
for Sulphur
HS Football broadcasts are Bruce Merchant and Clopha Boudreaux. This
year, Rick Delrie assists with the half-time show. SportsGumbo.net
is carrying Sulphur HS football for the second straight year.
All Sulphur
HS football games can be
heard, once again, on KEZM, 1310AM, in
the Lake Area. KEZM is owned
by Bruce Merchant.
SportsGumbo.net,
and its predecessor,
The SportsGumbo.net Broadcasting Network, is in its fourth year
broadcasting Louisiana high school football games. The
SportsGumbo.net Broadcasting Network was founded by Rick
Cantu and
Jon Fine. Broadcasts on
SportsGumbo.net are a Jon Fine Sports
Production, with major technical assistance from Rick Cantu.
Jon Fine was
a sportscaster and
producer in the Lake Area between 1983 and 1991. During that period,
Jon served stints as play-by-play announcer for Barbe HS football and
McNeese State sports.
SportsGumbo.net,
in 2009, simulcasts
the football radio broadcasts of Sulphur High School and Denham
Springs H.S. In the greater Baton Rouge area, Denham Springs HS
broadcasts can be heard on the radio on The
Score, 1210AM, Fox Sports
Radio. Central High School Internet
broadcasts air on
SportsGumbo.net. Denham Springs HS and Central HS broadcasts
commence at 6pm. In years’ past SportsGumbo.net (The
SportsGumbo.net Broadcasting Network at that time) has also carried
games of Live Oak HS and Walker HS.

is a web site affiliated with the morning sports talk show,
SportsGumbo, which airs Monday—Friday, 8am-9am. The program can be
heard in Sulphur/The Lake Area on KEZM, 1310AM. Once can also listen
to SporsGumbo in Baton Rouge/River Parishes (KKAY, 1590AM), New
Orleans (ESPN, 1560AM) and, right here, on the Internet at
SportsGumbo.net. SportsGumbo is hosted by Jon Fine, Jason
Van
Buskirk and Olin Berthelot. The program is
