If and when he makes his NFL debut, he
might be nicknamed by Chris Berman as Damon "on any given" Sunde. So
special, they named a day of the week after him (although God or
Webster didn't get the spelling right)...Versatile (Baton Rouge) Clear
Channelian: official title is Morning Show Producer, but also serves
as news & sports reporter, DJ/on-air personality and does commercial
production...Will often sneak in Southeastern Louisiana University sports news
because...Damon's an announcer on SLU radio broadcasts--football
(color), basketball (pbp) and last spring completed his seventh year as baseball pbp
announcer for the Lions...Will go down in history as the first ever (and probably only) baseball
announcer for Baton Rouge Community College. Has also done radio work
for the Alexandria Aces (minor league baseball) and the Baton Rouge
Kingfish (minor league hockey)...1996 graduate of McKinley HS. Not a
member of their hall of fame, although he reportedly did walk the
halls of McKinley staring at coeds...Has 1 wife in the dugout, the former
Kristen Meyer of Mandeville..Wears lots of hats, still has much smaller head than Jon Fine. One of the real nice people in radio (with perfect looks for the medium too!). Same for Internet as well!
Damon Sunde is the webmaster of SportsGumbo.net. He has assisted Jon Fine Sports Productions in numerous ventures throughout the years.
